Munich to Budapest Itinerary
This trip was designed for a couple with a sophisticated palate for history, wine, and spas. They love to see as much as possible with the limited time they have, while balancing down time to relax.
MUNICH
PRAGUE
VIENNA
BUDAPEST
This 13-day whirlwind itinerary through Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary was an incredible combination of the cultural capitals of Munich, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. A sequence of international rail segments connected the capitals, and private transfers made it easy to transition between airports, hotels, and train stations.
Their itinerary was a balance of private experiences, from tours and cross-border excursions, to wine tasting and slow days at the spa.

The hotels selected in this 12-night itinerary aligned with the couple’s preferences for centrally located properties with pedestrian access to local shops and restaurants, and approachable, impeccable service.
After years of working together, I know well the type of experiences they enjoy while traveling. We arranged visits to the medieval city of Český Krumlov and the capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava. Local experiences included wine and charcuterie tasting, a river cruise, spa days, and exploring historical sites with a private guide. We balanced maximizing their time to see as much as they could while enjoying down time to unwind.
The logistics for this trip included first class air to Munich, returning from Budapest. Transitions were arranged by first class rail and private transfers between airports, hotels, and train stations. Private transportation was provided for the activities we organized - except when accessible on foot. This couple does enjoy walking to enjoy the city!
